Hello, again!
I’ve written two short stories that I’m really proud of, but I’ve been hugging them to my chest and polishing them for over a year. This is a silly thing for me to do because I hope to be a professional writer one day. So today I’m going to stop sitting on them and start submitting to magazines. I wrote another story a few weeks ago that I’m still polishing. I’ll probably go work on it after this post. And I just wrote one yesterday that I think has potential, but I’m not quite happy with it just yet. I’ll sit on that for a bit before I start editing.
Thesis is progressing, which is an improvement. Over spring break my dad flew down and we road tripped to New Orleans, which was fantastic. I got to meet my brand new cousins in South Carolina for the first time over Easter.
